COMPLETE REFURBISHMENT OF A 1970s BUNGALOW 2024/25

Two Chimneys is a 1970s bungalow now in need of refurbishing for modern living and to current building regulations for thermal efficiency.  

 

Our client is in her 80s and so the home needs to bear her safety in mind with considerations such as the levels of the kitchen and the patio being the same.

​

Our client wanted to rejig the whole layout taking the bedroom to the front of the property and the lounge to the rear.  Adding in crittal style patio doors, new kitchen, new bathrooms, basically new everything. The image to the right shows the extent of the works.

We have specified a new underfloor heating system that is energy efficient, along with a air source heat pump all to current Building Regulation efficiency and specification.

​

Work is progressing with an anticipated move in date for our client late Spring 2025.
